Dr. Joseph Kiprop Choge has a PhD in parasitology, having earlier pursued MSc, BSc (Hons), Higher Diploma specialization in Paediatrics and Diploma in Clinical Medicine. He is the immediate former Head of the Department of Clinical Medicine at the University of Kabianga, Kenya and an external examiner in several Kenyan Universities. He has served in various leadership positions within the Clinical Medicine Fraternity in Kenya and is currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the Clinical Officers Council (COC); the legally recognized regulatory body for Clinical Officers. He has participated in developing and periodically reviewing the core curricula for the COC and various Universities in Kenya and has published articles, books and book chapters. Dr. Choge is passionate about the pursuit of formal global recognition, professional development and unity in diversity of PAs and their equivalents across the world.
