We welcome all local and international delegates to Tooting, London, United Kingdom for the 17th Annual IAPAE Conference. Tooting is a beautiful city only 20 minutes south of London and one hour east of Heathrow International Airport.

Flight Information for International Delegates:
There are daily international flights arriving at Heathrow International Airport, only 48 minutes by car to the City St George’s University of London Campus for the Conference venue.
Or daily international flights arrive at London Gatwick International Airport, only 54 minutes by car to the City St George’s University of London Campus for the Conference venue.
Delegates are advised to seek travel advice for the best travel options given your departure location and connecting flights to the arrival airport.

Travel Plans for our International Delegates:
International delegates are recommended to arrive at Heathrow International Airport then travel to Tooting, via London using public transport with train, bus or e-hailing car services with Uber and Bolt, or private car/shuttle services or there are many car rental options.
(Reminder for our visitors: United Kingdome drives from the right side of the car and the car drives on the left side of the road!)
Public Transport options:
To travel from Heathrow Airport to Tooting in south London, the fastest public transport route is the Elizabeth Line and the Northern Line (about 60–75 minutes). The cheapest method is taking the SL7 Superloop bus combined with the 57 bus (about 1 hour 40 minutes).
Option 1: Elizabeth Line and Northern Line (Recommended: Fastest) This route requires a quick, straightforward change at Tottenham Court Road. Board the Elizabeth Line at any Heathrow terminal. Alight at Tottenham Court Road station. Transfer to the Northern Line (Southbound) via the Charing Cross branch. Alight at Tooting Broadway or Tooting Bec.
Travel time: ~60-75 minutes. Cost: Typically $19 – $48 (£15 – £35) depending on peak/off-peak
Option 2: Piccadilly Line and Northern Line (Alternative: Via Central London) This route is great if you prefer the classic Tube map routing and takes a similar amount of time to the Elizabeth line. Board the Piccadilly Line (Eastbound) at Heathrow. Change at Leicester Square station. Transfer to the Northern Line (Southbound – Charing Cross branch). Alight at Tooting Broadway or Tooting Bec.
Travel time: ~75-85 minutes. Cost: Peak/off-peak fares apply.
Option 3: Superloop & Local Bus (Cheapest) If you are traveling on a strict budget, you can avoid central London rail fares by using buses. Take the SL7 Superloop bus from Heathrow Central Bus Station to Cromwell Road / stop at Victoria. Transfer to bus SL8 or route 57 to complete the journey to Tooting. Travel time: ~1 hour 40 minutes. Cost: Usually between $3 – $47.
Option 4: Take the Express train from Heathrow International Airport to Paddington, then take the Underground Tube from Paddington to Tooting.
e-Hailing services – Uber and Bolt offer e-hailing transport services from Heathrow International Airport to City St George’s University of London Tooting campus. The cost is about 55-65 pounds one way.
Car rental services – There are many international car rental services located at Heathrow International Airport to self-drive the 45 -60 minutes, to reach City St George’s University of London Tooting campus. Do remember United Kingdom drives on the right side of the car and the car drives on the left side of the road for our international visitors.

During the conference, coffee, tea and snacks are provided in the morning and afternoon break sessions with lunches provided on 13, 14 and 15 November of the Conference. Light fare and drinks provided at the Meet and Greet on Thursday 12 November in the evening. The GALA Dinner is provided on Saturday evening, 14 November. All of these catering services are included at as part of the conference registration payment. Please note, there is no dinner provided on 13 and 15 November. We will make every attempt to cater to personal dietary needs.
