John Bradford is a Certified PA who served on the NCCPA Board of Directors from 2018 to 2026. He was the 2024 Board Chair and 2025 Immediate Past Chair He has lived and worked in many remote and isolated areas across five continents. John was a Peace Corps Medical Officer in Malawi, Namibia and The Gambia. He also worked in Edinburgh Scotland, Kabul, Afghanistan and in the Pacific on Midway and Shemya Islands. He was a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Solomon Islands and served as the medical provider for the Fall 2017 sailing of Semester at Sea. He has practiced in urgent care, internal medicine, occupational health and emergency medicine in the rural United States, and holds adjunct professor positions with the University of Utah and the University of North Texas. John was a Faculty member with the University of Utah and serves as a preceptor/educator in clinical roles for several Universities. John also serves on the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee of the AAPA. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates and the National Peace Corps Association.

He lives in Missoula Montana USA, splitting his time between clinics in Yellowstone National Park and the Prudhoe Bay region of Alaska.

Bradford earned a BSN from Montana State University and a master’s degree in PA Studies from the University of Utah.
