IAPAE Election Rules
- Anyone who is a current, fully paid, up to date, IAPAE member; and involved in PA/PA Analogue education in some manner, can nominate themselves or any other IAPAE member for any open position.
- An IAPAE member can only nominate themselves or another member for one open position.
- Nominations will occur online on the IAPAE Election website for a three-week period prior to, and up to the election date from Sunday, September 15 at 12:00 noon UTC (08:00am EST) and will close on Thursday, October 3 at 10:00pm UTC (6:00pm EST).
- All nominees may submit a Manifesto Statement, “Who I am, What I do for PA/Analogue education, What I intend to do in this post and Why elect me”, with maximum of 250 words, with a head shot photograph for consideration of desired open position at this Nomination link: https://www.iapae.org/iapae-election/iapae-election-nomination-form/
- The Manifesto and head shot will be posted on the IAPAE Election page for members to consider all nominees for each open position for online elections.
- Election voting will occur online for an 15-hour period during the IAPAE Annual Conference from Thursday, October 3 at 11:00pm UTC (7:00pm EST) to close on Friday, October 4 at 2pm UTC (10:00am EST).
- Anyone who is a current, fully paid, up to date, IAPAE member is eligible to cast their vote for candidates of the open positions, reviewing the Manifesto of each candidate.
- The IAPAE Secretary and Webmaster will tabulate the vote at the conclusion of the voting period.
- In the case of a tie for any open position, the Board of Directors will vote to decide the candidate.
