Research, Scholarly Activity and Repository of Knowledge
IAPAE supports, promotes and shares PA and PA Analogue global research related to education and clinical practice
IAPAE will be the leading resource for dissemination of PA/PA Analogue education related research and information. We promote and disseminate PA/PA Analogue education research for sharing of best educational practices. IAPAE makes this research accessible to the public and our members through the website.
Much of the IAPAE research and scholarly activity is conducted by our Research Committee. This volunteer committee serves to promote research interests related to PA and PA Analogue education, career and scope of practice in order to inform, educate, and add to the body of global knowledge. Furthermore, the committee is responsible for:
- Reviewing abstracts for scientific conferences
- Creating a repository of PA and PA Analogue accredited articles
- Being a partner for producing and disseminating scientific research
- Sourcing funds for research activities
IAPAE shares resources and educational tools in the ‘Members Only’ section to help educators and students to learn and contribute to the improvement of PA and PA Analogue education
IAPAE is the leading international organisation which recognizes the need to provide resources and support the PA / PA analogue profession and help in their education.
Through collaboration and participation of worldwide faculty, scholars, students, members and partnerships, IAPAE provides a global repository of resources and education tools including, templates for curriculum development, assessment tools, research paper writing guide, quality improvement projects, advocacy letters, and mentorship tools, to advance global PA and PA Analogue education.

Most of this work is conducted by three Committees: the Research Committee, the Education and Accreditation Committee and the Communications and Innovations Committee.
