Announcing IAPAE Elections for
open Board of Director and Committee Chair posts

The International Academy of Physician Associate Educators (IAPAE) announces open Elections for Board of Director and Committee Chair positions which will take place as part of the IAPAE 16th Annual Conference and IAPAE Annual General Meeting in Pretoria, South Africa and Virtually online meeting during 29-31 October, 2025.

Online Nomination Period

The IAPAE Elections will be online with all eligible IAPAE members welcome to nominate themselves or another IAPAE member for any open Board of Director or Committee Chair positions. The IAPAE Election Nomination Portal is open from Sunday, October 12 at 12:00 noon UTC and will close on Thursday, October 30 at 13:30 UTC.

Any IAPAE Member may complete the IAPAE Election Nomination Form, uploading a Manifesto Statement (maximum 250 words) explaining “Who they are, What they intend to accomplish, Why they should be elected for an open position and what is their teaching experience.”

Online IAPAE Voting Period

The IAPAE online Election voting will be open for 17 hours from Thursday, October 30 at 16:30 UTC to close on Friday, October 31 at 09:00 UTC. All IAPAE members, from any geographic region, whether attending the IAPAE conference in-person or not, are eligible to vote online during the 17-hour voting period. The Online IAPAE Voting Form link will be available on the IAPAE website and emailed to IAPAE Members after the Nomination portal closes and before the online voting period starts. (Online voting portal opens from Thursday, October 30 at 13:30 UTC to close on Friday, October 31 at 09:00 UTC).
