Communication & Repository Committee

The Communication and Repository Committee made up of volunteers from the IAPAE membership oversees the communication aspect, social media (Website, Facebook, Twitter) and repository of knowledge (Blog, Updates, Newsletter, historical documents) of the organisation. The Committee meets regularly to disseminate relevant information and make timely communication updates related to all PA/PA Analogue education.

Committee Objectives

  1. Promote and disseminate all forms of communication from IAPAE to stakeholders
  2. Promote and develop IAPAE related social media to be of professional standard
  3. Market and advertise IAPAE around globe
  4. Conduct quarterly webinars/events for all interested health science educators
  5. Create a database of all PA/PA Analogue educational related material to share globally as a repository of knowledge

Mr Kachwano completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Medicine and Community Health at Kampala International University. He has an IT/Communication, Data & Management Certificate from NP Computer Center. He recently completed a professional course titled Fundamentals of Implementation Sciences at University of Washington, USA. Mr Kachwano is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Public Health and Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Education at Bishop Stuart University.

Mr Kachwano is a member of the Advisory Council of the GACOPA East Africa Chapter; a Secretary General of the Medical Clinical Officers Professionals of Uganda; the Secretary General of Allied Health Professional Associations’ Federation, where he successfully led the Allied Health Professionals (including clinical officers) in pursuit for welfare and better working conditions and currently in purist for Equal Opportunities for clinical officers and the Health sector of Uganda before the Equal Opportunities Commission.

Since 2021, Mr Kachwano works for the Infectious Diseases Research Collaboration under the SONET Study Project in South Western Uganda-Mbarara. He has practiced medicine as a clinical officer under Infectious Diseases Institute in West Nile/Northern Uganda.
