Mr. Kipkoech Geoffrey Korir is a faculty member and lecturer at Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), Faculty of Clinical Sciences, Department of Clinical Medicine & Surgery, Nairobi Campus, Kenya. He is currently the coordinator for Higher Diploma course in Nephrology programme as well as the chairperson for Kenya Clinical Officers Association (KCOA), Nairobi Branch. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Medicine and Community Health from Great Lakes University of Kisumu; a Higher National Diploma in Medical Education KMTC, Nairobi; a Higher National Diploma in Nephrology from KMTC Nairobi; a Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery from KMTC, Nakuru; as well as a Leadership and Management in Global Health Certificate from University of Washington; and a Policy Development and Advocacy for Global Health Certificate from University of Washington. Besides providing medical care and teaching, Korir has been instrumental in the development and curriculum design on a national level for Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) diploma and higher diploma courses.
